Peonies are a cottage garden staple, and will last a lifetime in the garden, getting bigger and better with age, so are always worth the investment. Make use of the addictive blooms in cutflower displays too.

‘Sarah Bernhardt’ – gorgeous rose pink, double flowers appear in profusion early in the summer season, a large bloom that has ruffled inner petals to create a simply stunning effect.
‘Karl Rosenfield’ – blowsy, deeply ruffled double magenta blooms that will add a touch of drama to your early summer border display.
‘Shirley Temple’ – extending the peony season by being one of the latest flowering varieties, red buds will open to reveal pale pink double blooms which slowly fade to white, giving the flower a subtle two tone appearance.
