• Strawberry ‘Marshmello’ (mid-season) – one of the sweetest of all strawberries with excellent disease resistance. Despite their excellent flavour, ‘Marshmello’ strawberries aren’t available to buy commercially because their soft texture makes for a shorter shelf life – so home-growing is your chance to enjoy these divine fruits that leave supermarket varieties far behind! • Strawberry ‘Malling Centenary’ (early- to mid-season) – an outstanding variety producing heavy crops right from its first year, this easy-to-grow strawberry produces richly flavoured berries in just 60 days, and keeps cropping for up to four months! Height: 30cm (12in). Spread: 50cm (20in).
• Strawberry ‘Pegasus’ (mid- to late-season) – an RHS award-winning variety producing medium-large, soft, sweet and juicy fruit. With great resistance to verticillium wilt, crown rot and mildew, ‘Pegasus’ is ideal for organic growing, and thrives on heavy soils. Height: 20cm (8in). Spread: 30cm (12in).
